Before me, beyond me, divinity without end
Flowers share whispers of your beauty
Awakening the beauty that lies within
Birds sing ballads of your mighty deeds
Tell the stories of your saving hand
The rains reveal your sovereignty
Falling on the just and unjust alike
The winds envelop me with your unending presence
Whether gentle breeze or mighty gale
The ground gives birth to your fruitfulness
And nourishes me with the gifts of life
The oceans announce your vast otherness
Pulling me deeper into your mysteries
The sun paints on the canvas of my eyes
Images of your endless creativity
The earth trembles beneath your power
Invoking reverence for your Name
Hooved animals display your surety
Offering hope of perseverance in all my tribulations
Wooly sheep invite me into your gentle care
Where I find comfort, protection, provision, and correction
The mighty oak hums a song of your steadfastness,
Patience, and the shelter that lies beneath your arms
With them all I proclaim the greatness of you Name
For it is in you we live and move and have our very being.
